GreenFlea has been operating for more than 25 years on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. It was among the first open air markets in the city. Combining both antique/vintage collectibles and new handcrafted items, it is a ideal place to look for something different to give or to keep. You'll find wonderful things at reasonable prices -- most of them not available anywhere else. Some of the handcrafters at the market will also offer custom-made merchandise, from jewelry to furniture to clothing. The vendors take pride in helping shoppers find just what they're looking for. Bring the family -- there is something for everyone.

Mr. Enrique Otero brings a very broad assortment of desks, chests, and dining room sets to the market each week. These are finely crafted vintage furniture - the kind of furniture that is passed from one generation to the next.

Ms. Carol Iuliucci
Ms. Carol Iuliucci offers a wide assortment of simple Shaker-like small furniture and accent pieces for the home. They can be made to order or purchased on the spot. The collection includes small stools which can double as seating, small scale dining/kitchen tables and various end/lamp tables. There are also a selection of peg boards and wooden hooks. The finish is a washed milk paint that comes in a large number of colors. Don't see the piece you're looking for? Ask - you may find that she is happy to make it for you. On the W. 76th St. side fence between the corner at W. 76 and the gate.

Accent by J'net Forrester is the stall to visit if you are looking for some of the most creative original women's fashions in the market. J'net talks about her collection with us:
I launched Accent by Ja’net and opened a showroom. My scarves and shawls were sold to boutiques and catalog companies such as Brownstone Studio, Essence catalog, and the BET home shopping network. I traveled through a number of US cities, Canada and Europe (London, Switzerland, Italy, and Germany) for inspiration. During that time, I received press coverage from Women's Wear Daily, Essence, and Accessory magazine.
Recently, there has been lots of buzz about my creation of jackets, coats, and vests, made of neoprene, a fabric more commonly used for wet suits. Buyers declare the neoprene garments to be wearable art. They declare that they look good and fit fantastically! Accent by Ja’net was also featured in a television shopping show “Shop around the World” and has received press from the Boston Globe, and online blogs.

Mr. Scott Jordan.
He excavates ground in New York City (all the five boroughs); what he finds are REAL TREASURES. Within his collection, there are antique bottles and other household items - door knobs, keys, coins, toys ... etc.
All are salvaged from construction sites in New York City. Some of the items date back to the 18th century. This man protects and strengthens the culture of New York City - he saves these archaeological relics!

Visit the GreenFlea food section
Prepared gourmet food vendors, produced under licence.
Within the flea market itself (just inside the gate on W. 77th St.), you will also find some gourmet food providers: a specialty baker offering cookies and desserts for people with food allergies, a fresh mozzarella and seafood specialty vendor (who also carries Balthazar breads), a caterer who offers wonderful savory quiches and turnovers, and a vendor selling fabulous pickles, olives and other condiments.
Not located in the food section but within the market itself is a spice and tea vendor that will make it seem that you are shopping at a marche in gay Paree! There are also fabulous Greek-style pastries and savories sold by another vendor. You can shop and pick up your lunch or dinner on the way out of the market.
Better and healthier choices than those of other markets. Most other markets do not have the savoir faire or mere experience to sell quality food. A typical market would sell tacos or hambergers - we at Greenflea, step it up a notch.
Greenflea really does offer the best quality; we protect our vendors. We build a community.

Karma Bhutia is constantly looking for truly gorgeous scarves and wraps from Tibet, Nepal, and India. The selection changes with the seasons. Just a few steps from the gate on Columbus Ave.
AC Agates has been offering beautiful handcrafted necklaces, bracelets, and earrings for years. Many include agates and other natural stones. In the middle of the yard in row C.
These charming American decorative objects are among many sold by Good Olde Things. Look for them at the corner of 77th & Columbus Ave. on the front fence. Check out their tin bordered mirrors.
Say Hi To The Spring
Lauren Baruch offers vintage Whiting & Davis mesh bags along with a broad selection of vintage men's jewelry - rings and cuff-links. She also has a few surprise items each week like the samurai swords picutre. Look for her in the front of the yard near the entrance on W. 77th St.
